Mountain Biking the Flume Trail, Lake Tahoe

Jürgen had the idea to ride the Flume Trail. This was my first time on a mountain bike so I kept the camera in the car, but I borrowed Jürgen's compact for a couple panoramics. This first one shows the classic Flume trail experience - a trail following an old waterpipe, so it's almost level along a steep slope, providing awesome views of Lake Tahoe.

A little further north, towards Incline Village, Nevdada. We decided to follow a loop via the Tahoe Rim Trail, so more climbing from here was ahead of us.

At the summit of our journey. This picture is stitched - don't look too closely at the details.

To get high, think blue.
